The burger here is really good and I love the fries. I also got the margarita, but you have to ask for a salt rim. Every time I've been here the service has been really good and the food comes out quickly. There's also a lot of seating available and it's great for bigger groups.
Let me just start by .... THE BURGERS ARE AMAZING AND THE FRIES!!!! This is a super low lit, cozy, very good music, and chill bar to get some amazing food and drinks at. The bartenders were super accommodating and great to get you whatever you wanted. They made sure you had water and always had a beer in hand. Place is a great place to take kids, family, chill night, or even a dinner with the hubs!
Nate and I are regulars at the 7 Monks Taproom in Grand Rapids, so we were excited to check out the location in TC while visiting recently. We walked right in and sat at the bar. They have a lot of beer on tap as well as several cocktails. The food menu is different than the GR location, with a little bit nicer options (although they don't have my favorite ever chicken Caesar salad wrap). We were just grabbing a couple drinks, so I got a strawberry cocktail with vodka that was very strong, and Nate got a beer ($1 off since he is a Monk Club member and your membership is good at either location). The bartenders helping us out were all really nice. The space isn't as cool as the GR location, but I'd come back and try some of the food!
Visiting a friend in Elk Rapids and stopped here dinner after being picked up from the airport. When we walked in, the bar tender greeted us right away and made us feel welcomed. The waitress was also friendly and nice and the food tasted fantastic! We started out with their brussel sprouts and you can't go wrong with ordering that. I had the beet salad and my husband and our friend got the burger. They also raved about their food and my salad tasted great as well! We will definitely be back next time we are up this way!
Love coming to 7 monks taproom whenever I come to traverse city! You seat yourself in an open seat or at the bar area. They have lots of different beers on tap so I recommend trying one! I got the smash burger and it was delicious and fries were crispy. My dad got the bacon jam burger and said it was better than the smash burger so I will try it next time! Service was quick and everyone was very nice.
We had Reuben egg rolls, salad w/ grilled chicken, and a chicken sandwich with fries. All really good! Cute bar with good food. They had a great beer selection. Service was good.
Typical bar style restaurant. Good burgers good beer for a good price. Service was also fast! They recommended us the beers and they were a good choice.
